January 2025 starts with 3 studio sessions
The first activity of 2025 will be with Jawwaad Taylor, Ingebrigt Håker Flaten, Hans Hulbækmo, Peder Stuberg Overvik and myself. We will be in Øra studio from 06.01-10.01.
I will then travel to Flerbruket with the band ükya. We will start the prosess of recording our second album. Kristian Enkerud Lien, Michael Lee Sørenmo and myself. 12.01-13.01
KRISE will also go on with making their second album. We will record it in Ugla Lyd on Nesodden with the amazing Morten Quenild. Kristian Enkerud Lien, Anna Ueland, Bjørn-André Syverinsen and myself. 14.01-17.01

This spring I'm playing at Nye Hjorten Teater at the musical - Peter Pan, Stargate to Neverland. I will be subbing for Christian Aftret Eriksen on around 40% of the shows. You will find when I´m playing in the TOUR tab.

This record was recorded in Olavshallen the 25th of may 2023. Brooks is Sondre, Emil and Bendik’s trio who each invited a teacher for a studio session during their second year jazz studies at NTNU in Trondheim. This resulted in the presence of Ingebrigt, Vigleik and Erik. We also asked Jørgen to join on drums. The record consists of 2 free improvised sets + one mashup of 8 trombone fanfares that are put on top of each other. Enjoy!
